Dave is a lifelong resident of Ashland, Nebraska, deeply rooted in the community he serves. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1977 before pursuing his law degree, which he obtained in 1980.

With a solid foundation in business and tax law, Dave's professional journey led him to Arthur Anderson & Co., where he honed his skills as a tax attorney before joining his father's practice, Lutton Law Office, in 1982. Since then, Dave has been dedicated to advocating for the best interests of his clients in Ashland and the surrounding communities.

In addition to his legal practice, Dave is actively involved in local governance. He proudly represents Ashland as Chairman of the Saunders County Board of Supervisors, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact on the area he calls home.

Outside of his professional and civic duties, Dave enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren, as well as vacationing and golfing.
